‘Winter, where have you been lately? You haven’t updated the blog in over a month!’
Very astute, little voice in my head. You have my sincerest apologies.
Firstly, I have started back up in school, taking classes for Creative Writing and pushing myself to maintain the discipline of writing consistently (note that irony).
Secondly, I have been quite busy with a new breed of project that I have taken up: character sketching coupled with hand drawn cartoon animations.
As you may know, I thrive in the act of discovering new concepts and ideas. And pursuing a new medium of storytelling like this really excites me. From storyboarding a digital short film, to the screenwriting and craft, to the execution of the animation, this is an exhilarating experience that I hope to follow through to the best of my creative ability. Any support or criticism you may have would be most welcome as we tour this new frontier.
In the meantime, I plan to reinstate the discipline of keeping the blog moderately up-to-date as I develop academic projects throughout this year.
So… stay tuned for those.
