It is a statement.
This is a space for me to share my creativity with the world. I would welcome anyone who desires to share their own craft as well. It is a platform of Collective knowledge, creativity, and experience.
But beyond that lies the statement of it all being Under Written. That even through our best efforts of exhaustive study, laborious editing, and minute scrutiny, we will never be able to truly capture everything. There will always be something new to discover and reveal.
It is a way of combating the adage “There is nothing new under the sun.” While that saying may be true, we can always find new ways of describing everything under the sun. I take up the UWC as the mantra, a battle cry: that everything ever written in all of human history has been an Under Written Collective.
I am a writer exploring the corners of the web and tossing my hat into the ring of aspiring internet bloggers. I would urge the community to take encouragement from one another; only through diversity and mutual respect for the craft can we add definition and beauty to this collage of life.
